Humilladero Chapel

Pequeña ermita de planta cuadrada situada a las afueras del municipio junto al viejo camino a Descargamaría, que hoy preside la entrada a la zona del Vadillo. Fue realizada en el siglo XVI en mampostería de piedra con enlucido de cal y esgrafiados simulando sillares.

Two slim, classical columns support the porch roof which protects the entrance. This occupies nearly the whole facade and is closed off with a wooden grille. The highlights of the interior are the wooden hip roof and the beautifully painted altarpiece with a relief wood carving of scenes from the Passion of Christ and an image of Christ from the 16th century.
